My clinical and research work focuses on Sjögren’s disease, dry eye disease, autoimmune and rheumatic diseases, integrative Chinese-Western medicine, acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, and objective measurement of Traditional Chinese Medicine–related physiological phenotypes.

Our research integrates clinical medicine with modern biomedical approaches, including objective ocular measurements, autonomic nervous system assessment, microcirculation, tongue and pulse diagnosis, genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, microbiome research, artificial intelligence, acupuncture, and Chinese herbal medicine.

The goal is simple: to better understand the biological heterogeneity of patients and to develop more precise approaches to integrative medicine.

國立陽明交通大學「中醫自體免疫暨乾眼症客觀量測實驗室」捐款計畫


中醫自體免疫暨乾眼症客觀量測實驗室 (Traditional Chinese medicine Autoimmune Disease and Dry Eye Syndrome Objective Measurements Lab,AIDDES Lab)致力於結合中醫理論與現代科技,進行前瞻性的研究,探索自體免疫風溼疾病與乾眼症患者的病理機轉及中醫輔助治療。AIDDES實驗室聚焦於透過客觀量測訊號,如中醫體質、舌診、脈診、虹膜、甲褶及心律變異等,加上DNA、RNA、蛋白質體學、口腔微生物菌相等生物醫學指標,深入探討客觀與生物醫學指標與自體免疫疾病的相關性,並進行跨領域的研究,以期建立更科學且精確的診斷與治療方法。
此外,我們也積極運用人工智慧及深度學習技術,對中醫體質、舌診、脈診資料進行自動化分析,並將其應用於處方的個人化設計。並希望可以通過基因序列、蛋白質體學、口腔微生物菌相…等研究,揭示自體免疫風溼疾病及乾眼症在分子生物學層面的機轉,並探索其中草藥及針灸等臨床介入方法的療效與潛力。我們的研究不僅有助於推動自體免疫疾病的精準醫療,還旨在構建真實世界的大數據研究,為未來的臨床決策提供有力支持。
因此,我們發起此捐款計畫,希望借助各界的支持,為患者帶來更好的醫療選擇,並推動中西醫結合。我們研究最終目標是幫助廣大的自體免疫疾病及乾眼症患者,減輕患者口眼乾燥症狀,提升生活品質,促進健康。

本專案將用於下列用途:
1.先進儀器設備的購置與升級:採購各類先進的研究儀器來提升實驗的精確度與效率,這包括心律變異係數分析儀、舌診及脈診儀、虹膜儀、甲褶鏡、基因定序……等設備,用於收集與分析患者的生理訊號與分子數據。
2.人工智慧與深度學習系統的開發與應用:我們計劃進行於人工智慧技術的開發,尤其是在中醫體質、舌診及脈診數據的自動化分析和中醫處方分析系統,目的是提高中醫診斷的準確性與中醫處方的精確度。我們將構建深度學習模型,並持續優化其性能,以應對複雜的臨床數據。
3.基因及多體學研究:為了探索自體免疫風溼疾病及乾眼症的病理機轉,我們將進行基因體、蛋白質體學、口腔微生物菌相等多體學研究,這不僅包括基因序列分析,還涉及RNA定序、蛋白質功能表現及口腔微生物菌相之變化。我們的目標是找出影響疾病發展的關鍵因子,從而發現新的治療靶點。
4.中草藥及針灸的臨床介入研究:我們將以嚴謹的臨床試驗設計,對中草藥及針刺療法在自體免疫疾病及乾眼症中進行療效分析與科學性驗證,中醫藥及針灸的大規模隨機對照試驗,可嚴謹評估中醫療法的有效性與安全性。
5.大數據研究平台的建立:為了促進長期數據的收集與分析,我們將建立自體免疫疾病暨乾眼症的的大數據研究平台,利用真實世界的數據進行病患狀況追蹤、療效評估及疾病預測。這將有助於我們對疾病進行全面的、長期的觀察,並為未來的臨床應用提供科學證據。
6.科研人才的培育與發展:我們希望藉由此捐款計畫,培育優良的碩博士學生與研究員培育,提供學術課程、研討會與研究資源,鼓勵他們投入中醫藥、針灸進行自體免疫疾病與乾眼症相關領域研究。我們也將與國際頂尖學術機構合作,促進國際交流與技術提升。
7.國際學術交流與成果發表:我們將積極參與國際學術會議,發表研究成果,並與全球學者進行交流。我們的目標是讓AIDDES實驗室的研究成果獲得全球認可,並推廣至更廣泛的臨床應用情境,造福更多的患者。
